Gardening is fun for the whole family. Children don’t like watching adults work—they want to be right in the middle of things and help out. The colorful rake was specifically designed for children to introduce them to nature and help them develop a love of it, while enabling them to help in a fun, ergonomically sound way. With a professional tool like this, it’s easy for the whole family to get the chores around the house done in no time.
Please note: We initially decided against adding a product with a high proportion of plastic to our range. What convinced us was the practical use of plastic in places where wooden parts would otherwise need to be replaced repeatedly, as well as the quality of the plastic used.

Materials and workmanship
The wood is selected by an experienced rake maker, drawing on many years of expertise that often dates back to the time of their grandparents. The wood is dried for 3 years to ensure the highest quality.
- Beechwood – rake head
- Nylon (polyamide PA) – tines
- Fiberglass-reinforced nylon (polyamide PA) – holder
- Limewood – handle
The rake handle
For centuries, limewood has been the first choice for rake handles. The handle is shaped with two tapers, meaning that it narrows toward the hand end. This shape has evolved and proven itself over the centuries. When in use, the taper triggers a reflex in the hand that keeps the handle from slipping away. This makes the rake easier to handle. The wood is very lightweight, does not splinter, and does not warp.
Usage tip: The handle is made of very lightweight limewood, making it easier to handle. Please note, however, that the rake is therefore not suitable for heavy work, such as digging over soil. We’re happy to answer any questions!
The rake yoke
Beechwood is used here. The wood is harvested from local forests at a specific time of year. It is then gently dried for around 3 years. It is also important to use the wood in line with the direction of its grain.
The rake tines
The high-quality nylon tines (polyamide PA) are impact-resistant and can handle even tough jobs. The curved tines are permanently flexible, spring back into line with the others after being bent too far, and are highly wear-resistant.
The holder
Nylon was chosen for the holder that attaches the rake head to the handle to provide greater durability and stability. Although it is not made exclusively from natural materials, it serves a practical and important purpose here. It is extremely sturdy, adjustable in stages, and built to withstand the toughest use.
