Chair glides are small protective devices that are attached to the underside of chair legs. The glides protect the floor from scratches and wear while simultaneously increasing the mobility of the chair. 

The Teflon glides ‘Soft’ are made of robust and durable Teflon. Teflon is also known as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). 

The material of the protective glides is weather-resistant. Therefore, these furniture glides are also suitable for outdoor use.

The chair glides are available in various sizes, and the right protective pad is included for every different chair model. The glides are screwed in and provide a strong and permanent hold. Thanks to the Teflon coating, the chair glides particularly smoothly and quietly across the floor. 

Tip: The ‘Soft’ chair glides can be removed and replaced at any time.

Technically speaking, Teflon is not a chemical substance, but merely a brand name.

The robust and durable material is also known as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). It is a synthetic polymer that is highly heat-resistant and chemically resistant, and is therefore often used in electrical engineering and the chemical industry.
